Things I should be doing vs. What I'm ACTUALLY doing
Things I should be doing:
- Writing grant proposals.
- Writing an author bio/ back cover copy/ blurbs
- Researching court cases on previously published works and gaining appropriate permissions
- Updating my résumé.
What I’m actually doing:
- Watching “Workaholics”…as in all of the first season. Yes, it’s ten episodes. They’re only 20 minutes a piece. Fuck off.
- Perusing the Powell’s website to plot how I’ll spend my $50 gift card…thanks Santa!
-Painting my fingernails (goodness knows a girl can’t type directly after beautifying her delicate little digits…insert Vargas girl face here).
-Reading Stevie Smith because she makes me feel normal and happy.
